Constance Guisset is an interdisciplinary designer born in 1976 who works in Paris. She creates interior design, furniture, jewelry, illustrations, stage design and exhibitions. Her work is marked by a search for balance between ergonomics, delicacy and imagination. Her objects are as many attempts to explore the incarnation of the movement by lightness or surprise. The great example of her aesthetics is the well-known Vertigo lamp.
She collaborates with many French and international furniture producers. She realized stage designs for the spectacles (for example Angelin Preljocaj’s ballets) and the exhibitions (for example for the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris). She is the author of the “Children’s philharmonic” – the interactive space dedicated to children in the Paris Philharmonic. She writes and illustrates books for children, published by Albin Michel Jeunesse.
Since 2012, several individual exhibitions in France and abroad
have been dedicated to her work. She is also the recipient of many prestigious design awards.
