Bio:
Joanna Kania lectures in History of Art and Culture for part-time studies at the Faculty of Interior Design. A graduate of the Institute of Art History at the University of Warsaw, she has worked at the ASP Museum in Warsaw since 1996. Kania has curated two monographic exhibitions: Wanda Paklikowska-Winnicka (2007) and Rajmund Ziemski (2010) at the Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw. Her specialist subject is Polish paintings from the 1950s-1960s, and art from the Interwar Period in Poland (particularly the “Ład” Artists Cooperative and the work of Wojciech Jastrzębowski).
