Bio:
Dr Marta Paulat is a painter and author of painting and building installations. She graduated from the Department of Painting (under Prof. J. Modzelewski) at ASP in Warsaw in 2002. Dr Paulat is interested in the issues of painterliness in large spaces. She creates painted spaces by combining diverse materials, colours and ready-made objects; these form the development of painterly experimentation, whereby the human figure is the most important reference point. From 2011-2015, Dr Paulat undertook her doctoral studies at the Institute for Fine Arts at UJK in Kielce, attaining her doctor’s degree in 2015. Since 2015, she has been employed at the Department of Interior Design at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, where she co-teaches classes in Visual Spatial Structures.
