Workshops are going on two levels:
for juniors
for sophomores
3 workshops in each category
max 25 participants in each
REGISTRATION IS COMPULSORY

On that levels English Language Program Participants are obliged to take a part in one chosen workshop.
Who will not make a chose will be describe automatically and informed where is suppose to attend.
We encourage these who will be not accepted for workshops and also the 3rd year students and MA students, who can take a part optionally, to attend open lectures on 17th i 18th Dec at 17.30.

HAND MADE
juniors
1. MARTIN MAJOOR – double pen tool
Creating some characters on paper, without computer. From serif via sans to slab – system.
2. NIKA LANGOSZ – digital letters
Learning the basics of glyphs, typeface design to revival a old typeface.
3. MONIKA MAREK-ŁUCKA – lettering
Using calligraphy and graphic design to create signs for Warsaw shop windows (cooperation with Warsaw Municipal Office)
INSPIRED BY FILM
sophomores
1. VERENA GERLACH – type on film
Inspired by their favorite movie, the students will learn to design their own digital display typeface and present it in a poster.
2. FLORIAN RUNGE
Learning the basics of designing a text typeface inspired by their favourite movies and presented in a typographic poster.
3. MACIEJ POŁCZYŃSKI
Animated typefaces inspired by lettering from movie posters or opening titles. Designing two masters (styles) in Glyphs will bring the letters to life thanks to variable font format.
