Bio:
Mateusz Jarmulski is a director of animated films, screenwriter and animator. He graduated in animation from the National Film School in Łódź and worked at the Se-Ma-For studio, where he worked on special effects for the film “Peter and the Wolf” (Oscar 2008). Jarmulski also collaborated on the production of Kamil Polak’s animated film “The Lost Town of Switez”. He was a member of the creative team responsible for the created of multimedia projections for the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. In 2016, Jarmulski directed “Hug Me”, a children’s series for the Animoon studio. His award-winning films have been screened at a number of festivals, including Annecy, Stuttgart, Seoul, Belgrade and Hiroshima. He teaches animation for English-language studies at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology at the Faculty of New Media Arts.
