Bio:
Dr Magdalena Pastuszak is a member of SMTG (the Association of International Triennale Graphic Artists) in Krakow, and ZPAP in Warsaw. Her academic interests include interdisciplinary graphic art, graphic design, alternative graphic art, graphic art for the publishing industry. Dr Pastuszak has produced more than 100 cover designs. With many years of work experience as an artistic director in advertising agencies, she collaborates on television and radio commercials. She received her doctorate from UMCS in Lublin and is a graduate of ASP in Krakow and LSP in Warsaw. Dr Pastuszak has received awards for her logotypes: Idea 97, ASP, PKP. She won first prize for: a logotype for the Museum of Linen Production in Żyrardów, photography in the “Real man” category — “Taste Life Johnnie Walker 98” and her poster series “Lowe Mother Earth” — Japan. She won first and second place prizes for her work on the “Daj im przyszłość” (“Give them a future”) social campaign. Her graphic work can be found in collections in Poland and abroad.
