Bio:
Historian of visual culture and literature. Lecturer at PJAIT and curator at the Jewish Historical Institute. Deputy Director and curator of the Modern Art Collection of the National Museum in Warsaw (2011-2018). Chief Curator of the Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw (1990–1996). Author of many exhibitions and publications on the relationship between literature and art, modern art and applied graphics, incl. Mieczysław Berman (2015); Not geese. Polish graphic design 1919–1949 (2011); Pyramids, suns, labyrinths. Visual Poetry in Poland from the 16th to the 18th Century (2002); Books and pages. Polish avant-garde and artistic book in the 20th century (2000). He is currently working on a book on graphic design in Poland in the 1940s.
